At Edna Academy Private School, our dedicated educators are passionate professionals who are committed to helping every student reach their fullest potential. They create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our teachers understand that every child learns differently. Through individualized instruction, small-group learning, and evidence-based teaching practices, they meet students where they are and provide the support needed for continued growth. They work closely with families, therapists, and support staff to ensure each student receives a well-rounded educational experience tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
Our teachers meet at least one of these qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or higher in any subject, verified by a diploma or completed transcripts.
- Three or more years of K–12 teaching experience, verified through documented contact with previous employers.
- Special skills, knowledge, or expertise in K–12 subjects, supported by certifications, professional development, or curriculum training. Pre-K experience and certifications do not satisfy this requirement.

At Edna Academy Private School, we provide a supportive and engaging educational experience for students in Pre-K through 12th grade. With small class sizes, individualized instruction, and a nurturing learning environment, every student receives the personalized attention they need to
succeed.
Our dedicated educators tailor instruction to each student’s unique strengths and learning needs through customized curriculum, hands-on activities, and small-group learning. We are committed to building confidence, fostering
independence, and helping every child achieve academic, social, and personal success.

Our Academics
We provide structured teaching and a customized curriculum tailored to each student’s learning style, abilities, and academic needs. Through individualized instruction, small-group learning, clear routines, and visual supports, we help students build skills in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
We use IXL, an online learning platform, to reinforce classroom instruction, provide personalized practice, and monitor progress. Our teachers adjust lessons and support to help each student develop confidence, independence, and academic success.
School Dance Team
Edna Academy Private School’s Dancing Bulldogs bring school spirit, teamwork, and creativity to every performance! Beyond the dance floor, we proudly serve our community, teaching our dancers the value of kindness, leadership, and giving back. Dancing with purpose and serving with heart!

Edna Academy Private School holds a very special place in my heart because it was named in honor of my grandmother, Edna Sconiers. Her name represents the values of love, strength, perseverance, and dedication to family that continue to inspire the vision of our school. Carrying her name forward through education is both an honor and a reminder of the legacy we hope to build for every child who walks through our doors.
